If you’ve supported Tibet Match in the past – thank you. In 2022, you raised £21,913. And in 2023, we reached an incredible total of £32,762. From Monday 18th March, for one week only, your donation will have double power. Any donation you make will be matched by a generous sponsor up to a total of £30,000.

Tibet Watch are the leading experts in sourcing and sharing information about what’s happening in occupied Tibet: one of the most closed-off places in the world. Using satellite and drone images, first-hand testimonies, and extensive analysis, Tibet Watch is building a picture of a human rights crisis that continues to escalate.

Just last month, Tibet Watch released “Weaponising Big Data”, an urgent research report on digital surveillance. And we’re hoping to release another research report this year – an investigation into linguicide: the erasure of the Tibetan language.

Without Tibet Watch, knowledge about what’s happening behind closed doors would be even more limited. And Free Tibet, our campaign partner, wouldn’t be able to run powerful campaigns – like when they successfully campaigned for the release of language teacher Rinchen Kyi. Every publication, every campaign, and every advocacy win starts with research. The funding we receive from this annual fundraiser means that Tibet Watch can continue for another year.

Everything you donate between 12 noon (GMT) on Monday 18th March and 12 midnight (GMT) on Monday 25th March will have double power up to a total of £30,000. You can donate from anywhere in the world: just visit www.justgiving.com/campaign/tibetmatch2024 from Monday.
